On Saturday, lovely Ana and Kev loaded up their gorgeous little monkeys, Ethan and Rory, into the back of the car, along with toys, frisbees and biscuits (never ever underestimate the power of well-placed bribery when shooting small people under the age of 6) and navigated some fairly horrendous traffic to come and shoot with me on Nomansland Common (conveniently by the very nice Wicked Lady Pub, in case you're wondering). Along the way the skies opened. Like, biblically opened. Like, I was wondering whether to pack a dinghy rather than just my red wellies...
But, as is so often the case (maybe I'm blessed, I don't know) just as we drove into the carpark the rain stopped and the skies cleared enough to give us some interesting light. Hurrah! So we all piled on to the common and made with the photogenic faces. I'd brought along my secret weapon... a huge bubble wand, so the boys were pretty happy about that - especially Kev :-)
I've tried and tried to reduce the number of photos that I love down to a judicious handful... but they're so sweet that I can't... so have a look at them all. What a lovely day!
