Jenny's my little sister. Not so little any more (we don't talk about that though as I stopped aging at 27 in my head). She lives in Melbourne and has done so for best part of a decade now. We haven't seen each other for 5 years, largely as South America got in the way of visits. 5 years!!! Ridiculous. Anyway, she and her fella Michael are visiting for a month. Bahahahaha - I thought... Maximum opportunities for photography!

Yesterday they went out for a posh picnic in the park, somehow taking my mama along as well, which I imagine wasn't quite part of Michael's plan. Be that as it may, I gather that when the former disappeared momentarily, he seized his chance and, amid high pitched squeals of, "ARE YOU SERIOUS??!" he slid a delight of diamonds on to her finger (made by her super talented silversmith friend Moirin of http://www.mqjewellery.com.au. Check her out... If I ever get round to getting hitched she's making the rings).

When I returned home that evening I was met by a ring... and then a grinning sister... then a glass of bolly. Jenny hasn't stopped admiring her hand and smiling goofily yet... 

Today I informed them that, despite the downpour that showed absolutely no inclination towards stopping, we were going to do the first of their shoots to celebrate. And so we did... juggling umbrellas so that models and photographer AND CAMERA stayed comparatively dry. We managed all of about half an hour before the rain renewed its vigour and it got ridiculous.
